The Innovation Stockyard announced two St. Joseph new companies to recieve funding through the recent partnership with Digital Sandbox KC. "In less, than a year, we've found three high-growth St. Joseph businesses to support and we know there are many more to come," said Ronan Molloy, president of the Innovation Stockyard.

Digital Sandbox KC has worked with more than 500 entrepreneurs and supported 96 proof-of-concept projects. Digital Sandbox KC is teaming up with cities across the metro to expand into new areas and markets. Digital Sandbox KC and the Innovation Stockyard are looking for early-stage entrepreneurs in St. Joseph who need a little help launching their products and services. Applications are open now for the next round of Digital Sandbox’s St. Joseph program. It’s designed for companies with the potential to achieve big growth quickly.

After a successful first round of project reviews, Digital Sandbox KC is accepting applications from entrepreneurs in the St. Joseph area with scalable business concepts that can grow quickly and create a high volume of jobs.

Thanks to the partnership between Digital Sandbox KC and the City of Independence and the Independence Economic Development Council, Drones4Hire and Hidden Abilities are the two new companies to receiving funding.

Digital Sandbox KC continues to expand its network – this time by partnering with a St. Joseph-based startup Toss It Curbside. With Toss It Curbside, customers can leave unwanted objects on the curb, and the startup will find a way to get those things to a charity or a recycler.
